Many artists have visited Yangon in the past and left with books, paintings, and poetry filled with inspiration they found while living in Myanmar. Vincent Van Gogh lived in many places during his lifetime and in this workshop, they will create paintings based on his work as though he had lived in Yangon and painted what they saw while living here.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
In this two-day workshop, you will create an original painting based on the style and techniques used by Vincent Van Gogh while learning some fundamental art concepts. They will cover the process of creating a painting from start to finish. You will learn how to mix colors and match tones you see around you to create your own Van Gogh inspired painting. They will take inspiration from what they see in Yangon/Myanmar every day, the skies, the buildings and the colors and use it to make your own painting. This workshop is accessible to anyone with an interest in creating art, from complete beginners to experienced artists alike.
