Sharpen your “guyliner” and warm up that flatiron: My Chemical Romance is back together for a reunion show.

The emo rock band of the early aughts took a six-year break from the stage, but will return on Dec. 20 in Los Angeles, they announced on Halloween.

Sadly — so sadly — there won’t be a full-blown tour for the Gerard Way-fronted band. MCR announced the plans for the one-night show at the Shrine Expo Hall on Instagram, with a caption “Like phantoms forever,” referencing their breakthrough 2002 EP.

Tickets for the show are available starting Friday at 12 p.m. pacific time on AXS. Within a couple hours of announcing the news on Instagram, 17,200 fans liked their post.

Back in 2013, the band called it quits, stating: “My Chemical Romance is done. But it can never die. It is alive in me, in the guys, and it is alive inside all of you. I always knew that, and I think you did too. Because it is not a band — it is an idea.”

But fans received a glimmer of hope thanks to Joe Jonas, who leaked in an interview that the “Welcome to the Black Parade” band was rehearsing in a space near him and his brothers.
