DEPUTY Minister for Information U Aung Hla Tun inspected the progress of printing school text books in Mandalay yesterday afternoon.
They visited Htate Tan Printing House and Yadanabon Newspaper House in Pyigyidagun Township, where the text books are being produced under the contracts with private sector.
The Deputy Minister instructed timely completion of school books for 2020-2021 academic year with particular quality and effective coordination among the printers and the publishers.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister was accompanied by Director-General U Aung Myo Myint from the Printing and Publishing Department, Assistant Director (Admin) for Mandalay Region Education Office U Kyaw Kyaw Mon, and Mandalay Region’s Printers and Publishers Association Chairman U Tun Tun Soe.
