OFFICIALS from the Social Security Board under the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population held a meeting with responsible persons from industrial zones on 21 March to promote awareness measures against Covid-19 at the factories and workshops.
The discussion took place at the meeting hall of Industrial Zone Management Committee in Hlinethaya Township, Yangon.
Deputy Director-General U Tin Ko Ko from the Social Security Board introduced the awareness programme for employers and employees of factories and workshops across the country.
He also explained the programme will be first implemented in Hlainethaya and Shwelinpan industrial zones and training for staff members from township offices of Social Security Board and its medical workers and doctors affiliated with the board.
The management of industrial zones also discussed their plans on implementation of programme.
