Beliebers may be getting their Christmas wish.

Justin Bieber — who hasn’t put out an album since 2015’s “Purpose” — has been teasing new music on his Instagram account with a series of posts Monday, sparking the hashtag #JustinBieberIsBack. The first post simply says “tomorrow” in pink, while the second one displays a frosty-haired and heavily tattooed Biebs in black and white with the cryptic message “December 24, December 31, January 3 … #2020.” A third post follows with simply “tomorrow” again.

What this all means from the 25-year-old pop star remains to be seen, but the series of dates could well signal single releases on Dec. 24 and 31, followed by an album release — which would be just Bieber’s third proper studio LP — on Jan. 3, 2020.

Already this has sent Beliebers — as his fans are called — into a frenzy. One fan tweeted: “We have waited 4 years for these. Somehow all the wait is finally paid off! LETS DO THIS #BieberIsBackTOMORROW.”

Another Belieber reacted: “beliebers have to be the MOST loyal fans. 4 years with no album, we went thru thick and thin, drama, scandals, distancing from our fav etc but we’re still here supporting him,” while also dropping the hashtag #BieberIsBackTOMORROW.

The scandals that Bieber has been through include canceling the remainder of his “Purpose” world tour in July 2017 due to depression and exhaustion. Since his “Purpose” album, there has also been drama in his love life, with his on-and-off-again relationship with Selena Gomez that eventually ended and sent him into the arms of Hailey Baldwin, whom he married last year.

But Bieber has been getting back into the music groove this year, collaborating with Ed Sheeran on their hit duet “I Don’t Care,” with Belieber Billie Eilish on a “Bad Guy” remix and with country-pop duo Dan + Shay on “10,000 Hours.” So it would only make sense that a full-fledged comeback is on the horizon.

And at the turn of the decade, that would certainly give Beliebers plenty of reason to be loving themselves.
