1. The Ministry of Health and Sports has been conducting monitoring activities on the COVID-19 acute respiratory disease, which had spread throughout China and some countries around the world, at international entry-exit checkpoints, hospital-based, community-based and in cooperation with private hospitals.

2. There were five new patients who are being monitored for COVID-19 disease as of 12 pm of 22-3-2020 from 12 pm of 20-3-2020.

3. As of 6 p.m. on 22-3-2020, 16 patients were being monitored for the COVID-19 at hospitals.

4. The report on lab results from the National Health Laboratory (NHL) (Yangon) will be separately released.

5. There are no COVID-19 patients as of 22-3-2020, but monitoring activities are being conducted with full momentum. COVID-19 spread across China and 185 countries across the world including our neighboring countries. The public is urged to adhere to the disease protection health information published by the Ministry of Health and Sports.
