The Ministry of Border Affairs has been sharing news and information on COVID-19, including how it spreads and preventive measures against it, at the universities, degree colleges and schools under the ministry since the spread of the virus.
Deputy Permanent Secretary U Soe Tun Nyo said the ministry has provided students with necessary hygiene equipment and they have closed their domestic vocational schools and youth training schools according to directives from the President’s Office.
He added that since their students come from many different border areas, they are arranging to teach them about COVID-19 and share it back in their hometown.
