DIRECTOR-General U Zaw Htay, the spokesperson of the Ministry of the Office of the State Counsellor, yesterday denied the false news on a social network page about 33 Covid-19 cases in Myanmar.
He insisted on his Facebook that there are only two confirmed cases in the country and referred to the official announcement of the Ministry of Health and Sports.The Director-General also requested not to disseminate unreliable information and to identify those who are creating false news. Myanmar has confirmed only two Covid-19 cases, and the patients are being quarantined for medical treatments.
