Myanmar’s SEA Games football team will play against Cambodia for the bronze medal in the men’s football tournament of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in Manila, the Philippines on Tuesday (December 10).
The third place match between Myanmar and Cambodia will be held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium 2.30pm.
Myanmar already won 2-1 against Cambodia in the group stage match and the third-place match is expected to be keenly contested.
Cambodia also lost to Vietnam 4-0 in the other semifinal match and is expected to challenge Myanmar strongly as it will be the first time the country is playing for a football medal in the SEA Games.
After the third place match, Vietnam and Indonesia will fight for the gold medal in the football tournament that will also be held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on Tuesday
In the third place match of the 2017 SEA Games, Myanmar lost to Indonesia 1-3 and missed the bronze medal.
