UNION Minister for Planning, Finance and Industry U Soe Win inspected the No.1 Textile Factory in Shwedaung Township, Bago Region, on 9 December morning.
The Union Minister heard the reports of factory officer on its history, its operation processes, joint-venture with Japanese company Tsuyatomo Co.,Ltd in dyeing and finishing processes, training programmes supported by the JICA for human resource development.
The Union Minister then explained the merger of two ministries for ensuring effective production, and called for manufacturing marketable products, success of joint-venture lines, avoiding environmental damages and fullcapacity of factory workers.
After leaving the factory, the Union Minister and party visited the No1. Industrial Training Centre (Sinde). The principal of the training centre briefed on the trainings and staff affairs.
The Union Minister discussed generating more skilled workers for the industries, providing teaching aid equipment, conducting modern technologies and trainings of trainers.
During the meeting with the trainees, the Union Minister urged them to try hard in learning for the success in their lives and to contribute their participation in state building tasks.
In the afternoon, the Union Minister and party inspected No. 16 Heavy Industry (Sinde) and No.23 Heavy Industry (Nyang Chay Htauk), and coordinated the discussions of staff members.
